Inspired by Storm, crafted with love

Storm, the light of my life, became my loyal companion at just eight weeks old. Having never owned a dog before, I was determined to create a loving home for him, ensuring he had everything he needed. After sorting out food and bedding, our daily "walkies" became paramount. While a collar and lead were essential, a warm dog coat was an absolute must – you can never trust the British weather! Especially in winter, a cosy, waterproof coat was vital for Storm. My passion for sewing led to the birth of StormsCozyCanineCoats, ensuring every dog can experience the warmth and comfort Storm enjoys.

This is Storm

Storm came home as an 8 weel old puppy. Obviously he looked very different then. He has now grown into the most beautiful boy & at the age of 4.5 years old has all the characteristics of a typical Cocker Spaniel.

He's a happy boy and full of life and mischief. He's bright and clever but has one failure. He adores people and there's no control over him when he sees a new human friend. Storm has to go & say "hi!" to everyone he meets whilst out on walkies. 

Storm is a very spoilt boy. Most of his 'needs' are handmade from his coats, collars, bandanas, beds and even some of his toys.

So this was followed on and  Stormscozycaninecoats was born.

About Our Jackets

StormsCozyCanineCoats come in two different types:-

Waterproof & Fleece

Waterproof Coats:-

Our Waterproof coats come in 4 different sizes from X-Small to Large. And there are 11 different colour to choose from. So you can be sure there is a Waterproof coat that will suit your furry friend.

Some Variations in Designs

Some of our coats have a varied design e.g with or without a collar.

Others don't have a strap for securing under your dog's chest. Instead the design is made with 'flaps' that are part of the coat body. They reach under your dog's chest with Velcro fastening for adjustment as with the strap.

What materials are these Coats made of?

These Waterproof Coats are made from a good quality quilted waterproof fabric in a "box" design. This is made up of 2oz of wadding onto 4ozs of waterproof polyester which repels the rain.

Your best friend will stay warm & dry. It will save you having to dry off your pet after walks in the rain or even having to bath a muddy dog!

The lining is anti-pill Polar Fleece, usually in a nice contrasting colour to the outer material, which will keep your pet warm on cold & frosty days too. Young puppies, elderly dogs & smooth coated dogs will benefit from wearing these lovely coats giving you a happy pet!

All coats are fully adjustable using the Velcro (hook & loop) fastening around the neck & chest making our coats easy to fit. 

A final bonus - should the coat become muddy - don't wash it! Washing in harsh detergents will destroy the rain resistant coating on the outer fabric. Simply leave the coat to dry & then brush mud off with a soft brush. That's all you need to do. If mud/stains cannot be removed by brushing, gently hand wash with a mild detergent in lukenwarm water & allow to dry naturally.

 

 

 

Fleece Coats:-

These are made from anti-pill Polay fleece & are warm and cozy - well, so Storm tells me!

These also come in 4 different sizes from X-Small to Large. The design is similar to our Waterproof coats with adjustable Velcro fastening around the chest & neck. 

Each Fleece coat is lined with a medium weight cotton Calico to keep your dog warm & cozy. The premium Fleece is thicker than normal fleece yet remains lightweight.

Colours And Sizes of our Coats:-

Fleece coats come in various colours and patterns whilst some are plain colours & others have an inscription embroidered on the back. Your pets name can also be added using HTV or iron-on vinyl.

Waterproof coats come in:-

Red, Wine, Light Blue, Navy, Brown, Bottle, Camo, Teal, Pink, Green & Stone.

Sizes for both types of coats are:-

X-Small, Small, Medium & Large
